It’s now official. I’ll be the design intern at the United Nations in NY for the summer. Probably ~ May 4th-ish thru September 12 ish. It’s been incredible seeing how God really precisely opened up this opportunity for me.
Officially I’ll be there to design a website for a UN conference (which is pretty exciting and all), but I’ve been feeling that God’s opening this opportunity for me to be there to start connecting to creative Christians for something kingdom wise down the line. Catching a sense of that vision from God for me, and a potential way that I can serve him with my passions and talents, is what really drove me to pursue this opportunity and apply. It’s something that I’ll be trying to pursue with courage and gratitude to God. It’ll be an interesting ride. I already foresee some other interesting things that are coincidentally happening this week which God may use to pave the way for my time there this summer.
I’ll try and get together later on more detailed sharing for the specific ways I see God in all of this and following him. The next steps are to really start connecting to NY ppl in preparation for my time there and also figure out my housing situation (my apartment spot here and a living spot in NY) and my car. I’m excited to see how God will continue to unfold his plans.
