* When we think of human talent or gifting, we tend to put it in a category of value added. If a person does not achieve his or her God-given potential, we might consider it a tragedy, but we would never think of it as wickedness. Our pursuit for holiness has historically been all about the elimination of sin.
* We have seen with clarity that a life lived against God is wicked, but have we ever seen as clearly that to live a life beneath our divine capacity is equally dishonoring to God? To not have that opportunity is tragic. To relinquish it, to neglect it, to reject it is to wicked in tea sight of God.
* Sin is what happens when we have too much time on our hands and too little purpose in our lives.
*...Our talents are not to be the focus of our lives. Serving others through our gifts and talents that we have is far more important...Even when our work is not focused on our talents, the effect can be both positive and substantial.
*...It's not about making your faith bigger. All you need is mustard seed-sized faith.
